The Curie High School Telecenter has finally arrived. It has not been fully implemented yet, but some
features are currently working. Our daily announcements are now appearing on the TV system as well as VCR, DVD
and PowerPoint presentations. Teachers can schedule any of the the devices and run them from the computers in
their classroom. The system contains 8 VCR channels, 4 DVD channels, 8 PowerPoint channels, 16 digital movie channels,
3 message channels, 1 remote TV channel and 3 in-house TV channels. Eight cable TV channels are also available.
For those interested, the Curie News show called the Radium was named after a discovery by Madame Curie.
